TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that range is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
The full review, covering the full fee table, withdrawal more info policies, and regulatory details, is at TradeTheDay.
